    Hello friends!

Here’s another wedding that was shot and delivered a while back, but I haven’t yet had a chance to share with you guys.

Kathy and Khanh are hands down one of the nicest, most welcoming couples I have ever met. One of my greatest joys as a wedding photographer is when my relationship with a couple somehow transitions, in a casual quiet sort of way, from that of client-and-photographer, to that of friends. I know many photographers try to keep their relationships strictly professional, and they probably have good reasons for doing so. But for me, I find real enjoyment in being able to connect with a couple beyond just the typical wedding chit chat, and that even after the wedding day, we can end up sharing and laughing about work and life and friends and movies and places we’ve visited. Kathy and Khanh, thank you for your friendship.

One thing that really struck me during the reception was the toast by Kathy’s maid of honor. She said, “Anyone can just look at Kathy and Khanh and see how well they complement each other. You know it’s a good thing when you look at them and think to yourself, This is what the world should look like.” After knowing them for the past half year, I can definitely agree with that sentiment. I hope the wedding pictures reflect that.

    Enjoy.
