Today, some girl came and sat down next to me on the bus.
(She had rubber duckies on her sweatshirt.)
I couldn’t remember
if she was in one of my classes,
or if she was a newcomer to IV,
or hung around my AACF friends.
Or maybe I see her at the Sorrento bus stop everycoupledays.
I couldn’t remember,
so I didn’t say anything to her.
I should have,
huh?
But you know what would be cool?
To be able to strike up a legit conversation
with anybody,
anywhere,
anytime.
and
not weird them out.
Just like Jesus. =D
But then again, Jesus weirded out awholelotta people. (Hmm.)

boo.
yea…if only those few scary people didnt ruin it for all the genuinely friendly folks…but if you start a casual convo with most ppl in davis, they’re usually pretty friendly
cute entry! take care nows
isn’t it weird how when most people think about Christianity, they tend to just think of the certain type of lifestyle that Christians are expected to live out that entails all the “rules/laws” or whatever (stuff that the Pharisees emphasized…) but Jesus changed all that…He wasn’t afraid to step out of the boundaries and be radical or controversial, in fact, He broke a lof of the rules and what was “expected” of Him…so yes I think it would be awesome if we can just strike up a convo w/ someone just randomly even if it may weird them out but I think that’s gonna be a big challenge but that doesn’t mean we can’t or shouldn’t strive to do that…afterall, we want to live to be more Christ-like…yea?
jun…. ure a dork man… just… be confident.
women notice that kinda stuff….. : D
Good morning to you too.
Well, it’s really only through the Holy Spirit that random conversations with strangers can be glorifying to God. So, pray first?
Though if the opportunities you see for possible acts of kindness are always toward just girls, I’d say……hmm.
Ever heard of the CD Veggie Rocks? It’s awesome.
Um… okay, I don’t usually (ever–EVER) read xanga things, but I can’t sleep, and weird things happen when you can’t sleep. But I HAVE to say… I know that girl. I’d know that rubber ducky sweatshirt anywhere.
this is Tillinghast, by the way.
random conversations with girls = ^_^
some people really do have that ability.
but not i. lol.
