Shot #1 would do better if you used a ND Grad filter or did a double exposure and blended them in photoshop.

you know what the best thing is? listening to silence. the only place in the world i’ve ever heard nothing is death valley, such a crazy beautiful place…name doesn’t really fit it. God’s got a crazy wonderful imagination.
