  • thousand words: Do you remember?

Couple pics from a random photoshoot Jenn and I went on. Didn’t think I’d get anything, but the digital darkroom does wonders. What you think?

One of these days, I’d like to go with somebody (who has a car )  and take pictures in the wheat fields and country lanes around Davis. That’d be cool.

    Your wildest dream

Gina handed me a platter. “Here, take one.”

“Homemade, huh?” I cracked it open and pulled out a slip of paper. And for the first time ever, a fortune cookie had me stumped. It wasn’t something weird like “Confucius say: you have heart as big as Texas.” (Pretty sure he didn’t say that.) or “You may attend a party where strange customs prevail.” (Sounds kinky.)

    “Your wildest dream,” she challenged.

    Wow. I really don’t know.

If you knew you would not fail, what would you do?

Maybe I’m idiot, because it’s just a stupid fortune, but it totally bugged me—all the way to the next day—that I wasn’t sure how to answer. I mean, I know the two callings placed on my life, but I wondered…should I dream bigger? And just how wild are we talking about here?

                      “I’d be a rock star.”

“A ballerina. Or I’d want to be like Kristi Yamaguchi.”

“Evangelize the entire Muslim world. (laughs) …
But I’d probably last maybe…10 minutes before they stone me.”

                              I’d rule the world.
(Ok fine. Josh didn’t actually say that…this time.
No challenge if it’s guaranteed success, he said.)

Well, it took me a couple days. But I finally have my answer. Ahh. Nuff about me. If you knew you would not fail, what would you do? Tell me your wildest dream.
