I was gone to Buca di Beppo with my small group for a mere two hours, and when I came back,
1) My door was solidly sealed with duct tape, multiple stacks of newspaper, and cardboard.
2) Anything that can be turned upside down was turned over, including:
a) fan
b) desk lamp
c) calendar
d) every single poster in my room
e) every book, picture, decoration piece on bookshelf
f) scent cylinder
g) backpack
h) tissue box, candle, box of crackers, nalgene, every piece of paper and book on desk
i) clock
j) mattress
3) A cryptic “YOU PAY” sign was taped on computer monitor
4) Some fragrance was sprayed in the room as a mockery
My first suspicion was I had been betrayed by the very people I had promised to help prank my housemate, but they emphatically insisted they were not the ones who did the hit. Additional multiple parties have also fervently denied all knowledge whatsoever of said crime. Except my housemate who won’t speak unless there’s an exchange of information. Which he ain’t getting from me.
A wise man once said For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed.
All guilty parties will suffer.

haha actually, I got a kick out of this, as Brian Steve Nancy3 Nancy4 Esther Kyung can attest. Very creative =) At least I didn’t have to clean Crisco off my car, or wash wet flour off the entrance into the dorms, or take care of TP, as certain IV ppl had to deal with over the last two weeks heh…But. You’re still gonna die

Haha..at first, I thought your apt got robbed or something…haha..but whew…it’s just a prank, and a pretty good one too ;) So stuff like this happened to other ppl in IV too? What’s all these rivalries? What’s goin’ on? *scratching head* i’m confused….

junshien, that was a really beautiful comment that you wrote me…honestly. i completely agree with you, that art should evoke emotion…hence i can’t call what i do art exactly, since i am more interested in aesthetics than any thing else sometimes…ultimately i think what i do is just ‘slightly artistic’…as in, it attempts to mimic art…but an imitation is at most what i am capable of…^_^
come to think of it…maybe that’s the difference between amateur and the skilled photographers…the ability to transcend beyond what looks good, into what makes you _feel_

yeh, it was in part inspired by xembu, but i wanted a different approach, different angles, different swirls in colour, more swirls, and a large ball of yellow on book and some smoke, though that didn’t actually show up, unforunately. also didn’t like the floor showing in his picture. i think he tried to make the book glow, but it didn’t really work.
also it was a similar technique, wasn’t hard to figure out how he did it, though the larger point of impact is quite a bit better than the glow edges, i think
that was a pretty good prank. I might have to use that myself in the near future. Not on you of course. haha.
